The walking wine tour:

Our city is home to the highest amount of sommeliers per capita. Women in Wine is a wine bar hopping tour while learning about the ladies who run our wine scene, one sip and story at a time.

We start at the province’s tiniest brewpub which has a stellar wine list focused on Québecois products and women winemakers. We’ll learn about the lady who co-owns the bar, the brewpub’s history and the ladies behind the two wines we will be trying. We’ll get an intro to the tour before taking the streets to walk to our next stop. There will be stops along the way to hear about women who changed one of the city’s past leading industries and see some street art tour.

You will follow your guide to three more watering holes, try two half glasses at each as well as some delicious charcuteries and cheeses, even Lebanese savioury bites while drinking wine on tap a caviste where you can purchase wine to go from the lady who founded the spot.

We’ll end at the OG buvette in Montréal. You’ll gain an understanding for the wine scene in the province and the female force behind that scene. There will stops on the walks to talk about the hood and culture.

This isn’t a snobby wine tasting tour. Our guides are Montréal licensed professional tour guides not wine accredited. This is a sip, learn, snack, walk and repeat with cheeky day drinks tour for anyone who like those things… paint the town blush pink type afternoon with new friends and a recommendations list for other great spots in the city is included too.

How difficult of a walk is this? Can I handle it?

You have to be in decent shape to keep up with with a group of walkers in the city. Unfortunately the tour is not suitable for those with reduced mobility. There are about a dozen stairs at one spot.

Does this tour go rain or shine?

Yes! If it’s DANGEROUS we will contact you on the accurate number you leave us if anything arises.

Should I leave my guide a tip?

Yes, if they did a good job it is customary to drown them in money.
